Yamile began her dental career in the UK after completing her dental vocational training in Cuba in 1999. Since then, she has developed extensive experience working across both private practices and NHS settings.

From 2006, Yamile worked as a Senior Dental Nurse on Harley Street, supporting specialist Endodontists, Periodontists, Prosthodontists, and Implantologists. She later spent 12 years as a Senior Specialist Dental Nurse within the Paediatric and Adult Special Care Departments of the Community Dental Service (NHS Trust), where she provided care for patients with additional needs.

Yamile holds NEBDN certification in Dental Nursing and has gained further qualifications in Dental Sedation, Dental Radiography, Oral Health Education, and Fluoride Varnish Application. She is also a qualified educator in Secondary, Further, and Higher Education, with extensive experience teaching dental nursing courses and training dental professionals.

Building on her comprehensive background in dental nursing, Yamile graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a BSc (Hons) in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. She is certified by the Swiss Dental Academy in Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) and has also completed a post-qualification in tooth whitening.

Yamile is passionate about empowering patients to achieve and maintain long-term oral health. She particularly enjoys working with anxious patients, children, and those who require additional support and motivation to stabilise and maintain their periodontal health.
